Private Label LED Headlight Bulbs: How to Launch Your Own Brand

How to launch private label LED headlight bulbs: choose platforms and bases, custom box and bulb logo, 2,000-pair mixed MOQ, samples and QC.

Short answer: a private label LED headlight bulb line is built on proven factory platforms. You pick the models and bulb bases your market needs, the factory puts your brand on the box and, if you want, on the bulb body, and you can mix models in one order. At ShinVea, a Guangzhou LED headlight bulb manufacturer founded in 2015, the private label MOQ is 2,000 pairs with mixed models, packaging is fully customisable, and the sample fee is refunded on your first order.

Why importers move to private label

Selling another company's brand keeps you in a price race with every other reseller of that brand. Your own label changes that:

  • You own the customer. Installers and shops ask for your brand by name, not for a part number they can buy elsewhere.
  • You control the range. You decide which power levels and bases you carry and how they are named.
  • You can switch factories without losing the brand. The brand equity stays with you.

The risk is quality. If the bulbs fail, it is your name on the box. That is why the choice of platform and the factory's quality checks matter more than the logo.

Step 1: Choose the platforms

ShinVea offers eight platforms for private label. Power figures are per bulb, from the factory spec sheets.

Platform Position Start / stable power per bulb Notes
BT150 High output 150 W / 120 W Sanan 4575 chips
BT100 High output 100 W / 80 W Sanan 3570 chips
BT80 Mainstream 80 W / 60 W Twin copper-tube cooling
DT150 High output 150 W / 120 W Sanan 4575 chips
DT80 Mainstream 80 W / 60 W Sanan 3570 chips
XT80 (APP) Smart Phone-app control 3000K / 4300K / 6000K in one bulb
M9 Value 65 W / 45 W Single copper tube
M8 Pro Value 65 W / 45 W Proven best-seller, CSP3570 chips

A practical first range has three tiers: a value model (M8 Pro or M9) for price-sensitive retail, a mainstream model (BT80 or DT80) for most installers, and a high-output model (BT150 or DT150) as your flagship. The XT80 (APP) works as a feature product for shops that sell to enthusiasts. Full specifications are on the LED headlight bulbs page.

Step 2: Choose the bulb bases

Pick bases from the vehicles in your market. ShinVea covers H4, H7, H11, 9005/9006, 9012, H13/9007 and the D-series (D1S to D8S) for cars that came with xenon. See the bulb size guides for fitment notes on each base.

Because the MOQ allows mixed models, you do not need 2,000 pairs of one base. You can split the order across the platforms and bases you need.

12 V and 24 V

Most platforms run on 9–36 V, so one part covers 12 V cars and 24 V trucks. If you sell to fleets, note the voltage version on every order line.

Step 3: Design the packaging and bulb marking

This is where your brand becomes visible:

  • Box: fully customisable. Use your logo and your own box design, or neutral packaging if you want to add your own labels locally.
  • Bulb body: custom logo printing on the bulb body to your requirements.
  • Light output: for most series, lumens and colour temperature (for example 6000K, 4300K or 3000K) can be customised to your requirements.

Prepare box artwork early. Artwork approval often takes longer than buyers expect, and it has to be final before mass production.

Step 4: Samples and approval

Order samples of each platform you plan to brand. The sample fee is paid upfront and refunded when you place your first order. Test the samples in the vehicles your customers drive most: fitment, beam pattern in the original housing, and any dashboard warnings on CANbus cars.

Step 5: Quality control you should expect

Your brand depends on what happens before the cartons are sealed. ShinVea checks every batch before shipment. The full process is on the quality control page:

  1. Aging (burn-in) test: bulbs are lit on aging racks before packing, so early failures are caught in the factory.
  2. Electrical check: start and stable power are checked against the spec sheet.
  3. Light output: luminous flux is checked in a flux test box.
  4. Pre-shipment inspection: the order is inspected before loading.

All ShinVea LED headlight bulb series are rated IP68, and all products carry a warranty of at least one year. Certification documents are available on request where applicable, so tell us the compliance requirements of your market before you order.
