How to pick a series
BT150 / DT150 are the flagship models: 150 W start and 120 W stable per bulb on Sanan 4575 chips. They suit high beams, pickups, SUVs and 24 V trucks.
BT100, BT80 and DT80 are the mainstream models (80–100 W start). They are a balanced choice for most halogen-to-LED conversions.
M9, M8 Pro and MINI are value and compact models (55–65 W start) with single copper-tube cooling and CSP3570-55mil chips. They suit volume replacement programmes and tight housings.
XT80 App adds phone-app control of 3000K, 4300K and 6000K. Q58 is a halogen-size plug-and-play bulb with a published per-bulb flux. All series are rated IP68. DX300 is the LED plug-and-play replacement for D1S, D2S, D3S, D4S, D5S and D8S HID bulbs (D-series guide).
Questions about choosing a bulb
Do LED headlights need a CANbus decoder?
Not always. Many vehicles (common on European brands and some newer Asian and American models) monitor bulb current. Because an LED draws far less power than a halogen bulb, the car may show a 'bulb out' warning, or the light may flicker. A CANbus-compatible bulb or a separate decoder/anti-flicker harness fixes this. Tell us the vehicle make, model and year and we will confirm what is needed.
What does 'start power' and 'stable power' mean?
LED bulbs run at a higher power for the first few minutes ('start'). When the heatsink warms up, the driver lowers the power to a 'stable' level that the bulb can sustain. For example, the BT150 starts at 150 W and stabilises at 120 W per bulb. The 'per pair' wattage seen in many listings is simply two bulbs added together.
Can one LED bulb model work on both 12 V cars and 24 V trucks?
Yes, for the BT, DT, XT, M, MINI and DX300 series. Their spec sheets list a 9–36 V input range, which covers 12 V passenger vehicles and 24 V trucks with the same part. The compact Q58 series has a narrower range (H4: DC 11–30 V; H7/H11: DC 12–16 V).
Can lumens and colour temperature be customized?
Yes. For most series, lumens and colour temperature (for example 6000K, 4300K or 3000K) can be customized to the buyer's requirements. The logo printed on the bulb body can also be customized: custom logo printing on the bulb body to your requirements. Tell us your target market and use, and we confirm the options with your quote.
