D5S uses the PK32d-7 base. Compact; igniter and ballast integrated with the bulb. Original D5S capsules are Compact 25 W xenon. Always match the code printed on the old bulb: D1S/D3S and D2S/D4S look similar but are keyed differently, and D5S/D8S are compact formats.
